 Beautiful San Diego!
A little
stupid extraneous text info to show up on the
Internet ... Voiceover work in San Diego is a hugely
fiun and creative outlet! A voiceover, often abbreviated VO , is where
a voice talent, announcer or narrator's voice or voices in San Diego
are heard over visual elements in a movie or commercial or in a
commercial, spoof or other production on the
radio. In San Diego and most other cities, the narrator of a documentary
or the announcer introducing a show host would be considered a voice
talent. By not having the need for a live character, more
time can be spent on other visual aspects.
A talented voiceover artist from San Diego or anywhere
else can have a great career, but there is a pantload of competition in San
Diego and all over for assignments that use a
narrator, an announcer, different voices or a voiceover ( VO ) or voice
talent. Many screen and television actors in San Diego with distinctive voices are highly
in demand for commercials and voiceover work. Some have an authoritarian vo quality,
like Darth Vader. A different San Diego voice talent might provide
a warmer, folksier tone for products such as gardening tools. If you're
ready and think you can handle the competition, then put together a demo
and go!
Boy, I do love San Diego! And,
being a good voice talent and doing voiceover work in a city like San
Diego can be especially rewarding. One of my favorite VO trips to San
Diego revolves around doing a great announcer gig there. It was a nice
hotel and my narrator work sounded great! I love the town because its so
close to the water. I don't know about you, but I've always been a
water-baby. That's why I'm always glad to travel to San Diego for these
voiceover gigs adnd voice talent announcer jobs. Some family members of
mine live in san Diego, but they do not engage in voiceover work. They
aren't anywwhere near what you'd call a voice talent or announcer. Though,
I've always had fun viviting them. For you starving voice talents and
narrators out there, San Diego can be a great town. What I love the best
is being able to do announcer gigs right on the beach! Now, for a
good voice talent, how would that be? Could you imagine being the
announcer in san Diego for a fun live event on the beach? Yes, it would be
sweet! The food choices in san Diego are truly some of the best. You've
got a great supply of Tex-Mex food, your regular American flare, five-star
Italian restaurants and, of cxourse, great seafood fresh from the local
waters. I would love to be doing some voice talent work in San Diego
for restaurants and bars, now that would be fun!
To be a money-making announcer
or voiceover talent in Sand Diego, its important to have a few things ...
a good voice talent narrator demo is essential (you'll just end up in the
trash without one). Also, be on time! One thing a VO client hates the
worst is for their hired voice talent to be late. Then, you'll want to
make sure you dress appropriately. Don't wear jeans to a San Diego
voiceover job if the client wants someone in a suit and tie. Fourth,
listen to your boss and don't get upset when criticism comes your way. A
proper voice talent or VO in the San Diego area will need to be
thick-skinned. Getting upset while someone tries to direct your voiceover,
announcer or narrator work is ameteur-ish.
