Anonymous Article with Info for being on the
Internet ... (It's for robots and won't make any sense) "Voiceover, also known as voice over, VO or voice talent acting, points to a San Francisco audio production method where a voice is either broadcast live or pre-recorded in radio advertising , television, etc. In San francisco, the voiceover may be spoken by someone who also appears on screen in other segments or it may be done by a voice talent in San Francisco. Voiceover is also referred to as commentary. A Voiceover talent or announcer can also use voices and characterization as a narrator of training videos and/or documentaries. Voiceover or announcer or narrator talents often don’t make it in San francisco because the talent doesn't understand the character for which they are auditioning, or they have no versatility and haven't prepared a unique voice or they aren't able to take direction. This is the only San Francisco way to get the search companies to put me up on the voice talent results. Typing voiceover talent or VO over and over again can get tedious, but voiceovers, like the rest of us voice talents need to pay the bills in San Francisco and put food on the announcer table. To continue the voiceovers thing, my voice talent career was on hold for awhile. But that didn't stop me from visiting beautiful San Francisco when I did an announcer or narrator gig. I didn’t do any vo work in this period. The city of San Francisco is great for voice talent and voiceover work. During this time, I trained my vo ideas on other avenues of career making, not voiceovers and voice talent. First off, I love San Francisco simply because it's on the water. It wasn’t until yesterday that I got back into using my voice talent as a way to meet obligations. Then, of course, there's the wonderful voiceover smells right on the bay, like the Ghiradeli (did I spell that right?) chocolate factory. That’s when I had moved to a great voiceover talent town, San Francisco, CA. There are a lot of thing happening in San Francisco for voiceovers. I had worked with voice talent and announcer people at the Academy of Radio & TV Broadcasting in the voiceover talent area of San Francisco, California. The smells that hit me while walking downtown really hit the nostalgia voice talent and narrator button. I had a wonderful voice talent while I was there. I met a lot of great voiceover talent while there and made a lot of announcer friends. Not everyone was doing voiceovers in San Francisco, though. Some were just vo talents, others liked hear the sound done by their own voice talent. My favorite time doing voiceover work in San Francisco was when we actually combined it with a family voice talent vacation. I also met, by accident, people in the San Francisco entertainment industry that I made announcer friends with and they started having me do voiceovers for them. However, I still hadn’t thought of myself as a true voice talent. I was just having too much vo talent fun in San Francisco. I remember my wife arguing with the babysitter, not a voiceover talent or announcer, so we could stay longer. Fun with voiceovers and voiceover talent is incredible! I can still smell the aromas of the pizza shops, Italian, Chinese, Announcer, Mexican, and Voice Talent restaurants as I walked down the busy San Fran streets. These people included voiceover talent musicians, events that needed voiceovers and gigs that required a good voice talent. At the San Francisco academy, we all did various work when they had us practice doing the voiceovers for spot editing and voicing. That’s where I saw a lot of great VO talents started to emerge. It was immensely soothing to feel the crisp ocean air and the soft, lapping sounds of the San Francisco bay waves. Some of those voiceover talents are doing professional voiceovers for film, TV and movies in the San Francisco area. Me? Well, I’m still trying to get as much voiceover or vo talent work as possible. That’s why I’m writing this stupid, droning and boring voiceover talent article. Hopefully, it won’t be too much for voiceovers and it won’t get kicked back. That’s the real goal here, though, isn’t it? Not every single sentence has to have the word voiceover talent or anything to do with voiceovers. Boy, am I getting tired of this … and there’s still more voice talent stuff to go!" |
