How do you get into voiceovers, being an emcee or announcer in the Reno area? Wow! That’s a tough question because one can get into doing voiceovers or emcee / announcer work in a ton of different ways. For me, it was mostly a voiceover talent emcee accident, if you will. I had no idea what voiceovers, voice overs, voice talent, narrator, emcee, announcer or VO even meant. My voice talent career in voiceovers emcee and announcer work began, I suppose, in the Reno area. My parents always told me I was the kind of kid who always made noises (and voiceovers !) wherever I went, so its no surprise I eventually became a voiceover talent, emcee and announcer. I had always played pretend with all of my favorite neighborhood voice talent friends, creating characters that would later on in life appear in my voiceovers / emcee / announcer repertoire.
