In New York, The word or phrase voiceover or vo or voice talent acting refers to a production technique where voices are broadcast in radio, television, film, theater, etc.  The voiceover may be done by people in New York who also appear on-screen in other parts or it may be done by a narrator. Voiceover is also  referred to as VO, voice over or voice talent acting. For NY and everywhere else, voiceover can also refer to the actual voice talent who did the job.
